2027 Australian Bird Calendar
2027 Australian Bird Calendar
Birds featured in this calendar - comb-crested jacana, red-capped robin, baudin’s black cockatoo, crested shrike-tit, Australian ringneck, rufus scrub-bird, red-backed kingfisher, shining flycatcher, pink-eared ducks, masked woodswallow, chestnut-breasted quail-thrush and rainbow pitta.
Every year in my studio in Sydney, I create twelve new birds for my calendar. These birds are made from discarded lino prints and paper I have painted. I store paper in folders, according to colour, as you can imagine, every piece of paper is precious. Sometimes I add ink or paint, or maybe use some pressed inked leaves to add texture.
Each piece of collaged paper has been meticulously cut and layered, and has been scanned at a high resolution to capture the subtle textures of collage.
Now in its twelfth year, the 2027 Australian Bird Calendar is now available.
Twelve new Australian bird designs, size A4, spiral bound, with a hanger . Perfect gift for a twitcher friend or a friend living overseas. I am happy to add a card mentioning it is a gift from you if you wish. I often do this when the person who has ordered the calendar is a different name to the person receiving!.
The calendar is created and printed on 100% recycled paper and printed locally in Sydney.
I have also released a special edition of only 50 A3 calendars, click here to purchase.
