The Children's Book

Thrilled my book is about to be published.

It’s all about Barry the satin bowerbird who decides to give up plastic, and with the help of some friends he does. It has taken me a few years to finish this book, it has been a journey, and definitely a journey into self publishing!. But satisfying to do something that has been on your mind for a long time, now its time to get on to those other things that remain there, like sorting out the photographs I have saved over the years!. The most fun I had was creating the illustrations, I spent a long time staring at satin bowerbirds eyes to make sure they were correct and of course the beautiful glossy dark blue coat they have. in fact I have begun a new book about Australian baby animals and their mothers.
